Making its debut in 1950 the mass produced six string with just a single cutaway pine body bolt on maple neck and a lone repurposed lap steel pickup in the bridge position changed the guitar world forever.

Comes with original tweed hard case cleaning cloth key and cable. Also there is the dobro which has a larger square neck and a cone to increase volume. There are three types of lap steel guitars.

All case latches work. Nut n 2bk black 6 string lap steel style guitar raised nut w screws 47mm. This pickup is a bit less twangy than the usual tele lead pickup and will offer you a clean chimey tone but with enough power in the low end for the pickup to not sound harsh. There is the common instrument we all recognize that sits on your lap.

Plays and sounds great. Ordered another wound to 7 5k for the second neck. Can be glued back on. There have been countless solid body electric guitar designs over the years but only one was first.
